Things Learned

Everyone is settling in nicely, I think, and still learning so many things about each other.

Antonio:  "Well, isn't that cute?"

Günter:  "Ah.  Tachi has been giving him Japanese lessons."

Antonio:  "Have they started dating yet?"

Günter:  "What?  Why would they?"

Antonio:  "Can't you tell?  Quincy is in love with our little Asian boy."

Günter:  ".....  Did he tell you that?"

Antonio:  "He didn't have to; these eyes see everything."

Günter:  "But they only just met."

Antonio:  "Don't you believe in love at first sight?"

Günter:  ".......  I wouldn't know."

Günter:  "But if that's the case... then I suppose it's unfortunate for Quincy, as Tachi only likes girls."

Antonio:  ::smirk::  "And rock stars."

Günter:  "It's not like that."

Antonio:  "Sure."

Günter:  "And anyway, he has family obligations.  He's supposed to be looking for a wife.  His parents are expecting him to carry on the family name."

Antonio:  "It's surprisingly easy to ignore family obligations."

Tachi:  ".... Quincy? ....................  Quincy!"

Quincy:  "Yes?"

Tachi:  "Are you paying any attention to me?"

Quincy:  "Yes."

Tachi:  "Then what did I just say?"

Quincy:  "「日本人はもちろん米国人もすしを食べるのです。」  To give an example of the ’・・・はもちろん・・・も’ grammatical point."

Tachi:  ::blink::  "Oh...  Ok...  Because you didn't look like you were-"

Quincy:  "Tachi..."

Tachi:  "- .... Hm?"

Quincy:  "I'm....... gay...."

Tachi:  "..... Oh."

Quincy:  "......  I don't know why, but I wanted you to know that..."

Tachi:  "Well that's ok!  I mean... Syn is bi, and Günter is... well, he's asexual, but that's another story.  And Antonio's a big flaming homo.  So... we're pretty used to it around here.  So even though I'm not, it.... it doesn't bother me if you are..."

Quincy:  "....  Thank you."

Quincy:  "So it would be 「アントニオはもちろん私もホモです。」"

Tachi:  ::laugh::  "Yes."
