Missed

Jobs that require travel can make things difficult in a relationship..  Doubly so if both partners are always on the go.

Fulton:  "Hello?  ...  Oh, hi Chief.  ....  It's going well.  I should be able to email it to you later today."

Fulton:  "Another assignment?  What kind?  ..........  Wow, that does sound interesting.  I'd love to do it.  ...  Ok.  When is it?"

Fulton:  "The 16th....?  Oh...  ..........  No, it's fine."

Fulton:  "Thank you for the opportunity, Sir.  I'm honored that you thought of me for it."

Fulton:  ".............."

Fulton:  *whimper*

And this probably isn't the first time it's happened....  Poor boy..  .^^;
