Günter's Ordeal

There comes a time when every BJD owner needs to learn the art of manipulating their doll's stringing. For us, tonight was that night.

We got some really cute t-shirts, but they can't fit his head through the neckline.

So it had to come off.

..... His head, that is.

Me: "Lay down."

Günter: ".....No good will come from this."

Günter: "My foot....."

Me: "Sorry..." .^^;

Günter: "Have you ever done this before?"

Me: "I've....done extensive research."

Günter: "...... I'm doomed."

Feetsies! X3 ♥

See, the feet have to come off to make the stringing loose enough in the neck to get the head off. I put the cord through the loops in the elastic string so I could pull it back through the legs when done with the head.

Me: "....Please don't look at me like that." .^^;

Günter: *glare glare glare*

Me: "I'm sorry!"

Günter: "This hurts."

Me: "Ok... now you look creepy." .^^;

Günter: "......." *sigh*

Got the shirt on! =D

Then it was at this point I was holding his head, adjusting the eyes (which I'm still convinced are crooked... .~_~ ) and....I dropped it. .>_> What's worse...I dropped it on the pencil holding the elastic string in his neck. .O_O He ended up with a dashed line across his cheek and on his ear. D= It was quite possibly the scariest thing that has ever happened since I got him. .;_; Luckily it washed off, and didn't take off any of his makeup, like I feared it would. *sigh of relief*

Then we got him put all back together, with a little help and hard work....and some power tools.

And now he has a cute new shirt! =D
